what kind of controller?

Some do tend to get funky like that. Usually you just keep fiddling with it and it will work, or pressing the buttons down a little harder.

Maybe it's time for a replacement?

Manual water mode won't start

I wanted to water one zone and I set the dial to run and it flashes for a second then goes back to display the time. I tried this numerous times and once I hear the sprinkler heads pop up trying to run but then the display reverts out of "running" mode. It was working fine this past week. I tried it to run it on manual for all zones and it does the same thing. I'm wondering if there is short in the wiring. Thank-you
