If resetting the controller doesn't work you'll need to get a new one.

Take out any back up battery and unplug for 5 minutes.

Toro GreenKeeper 212 - Auto Sprinkler System Controller - Model # GK212-04

At times when the Control Dial is turned to the OFF position it will not register and show "OFF" and the unit stays on. At times I have to "wiggle" the Control Dial to get it to show a particular position such as current time/day or rain delay.
Any suggestions on how to correct/repair - I don't want to replace the Controller.
Thanks.
