Kansas, I am going to tell you the same thing I told QUAQUA. Depending upon your location, which I am assuming it is Kansas, will play a role in which type of pipe you want to use. If you are in a non freezing climate, you may want to do the entire system with PVC. In a freezing climate you are definately going to want to go with poly pipe. Poly pipe can be be installed in non freezing climates however, and I think is much easier to install. You can use a vibratory plow to pull the pipe into the ground instead of trenching and backfilling with PVC. I would also suggest to you the Hunter products. Pro-C controller, PGP rotor sprinkler heads, the Pro series spray heads if you are using pop-ups, and any type of Hunter valve that fits your application. Good luck.
