Used controllers on eBay cannot be counted on to have a working timing motor. If the motor was to be found at a Rainbird distributor, it would have a price tag in excess of a hundred dollars.
RC1260
The motor I need is the one that keeps the time, not the one that advances from station to station. there are two sets of numbers. 50040 , and 80375. I have found a used controller on ebay. What would you take for your motor? Thank You
Try Hydroscape or Ewing.
I bought two motors for that controller about 10 years ago. I never used them. I still have them new in the box somewhere. I might sell them. I think I could beat the 500 dollar price.
What are the numbers on the motor?
The replacement motor will cost more than a new modern controller, and that's assuming you can locate a motor. You can always have a new motor built to order for about five hundred dollars.
timer for an RC1260
My 20 year old contoler's timer has gone out. It is the main motor . I know that rainbird has discontinued that workhorse and won't sell parts. Any idea where I can buy a motor?
For simplicity purposes I would stick with the Rainbird line. If this is a residential job, You should go with the Rainbird ESPM Indoor, with the appropriate amount of expansion modules.
The screen is larger than the proC, and for most people, the RB easier to use.
Yes, and also take a look at the Hunter Pro C line.
Good Luck.
Remember your common wire, and I hope it is white.
Thank you for the link. Lubee didn't have any timer motors for sale. Do you think I could upgrade to a Rainbird ESP Indoor Timer?
