You must use teflon tape on all manifold connections. You have to crank those fittings down. They are always pressurized with high PSI and will leak if not done correctly

New Anti Siphon Value Leaking

I just installed 3 new irritrol anti-siphon values and they are leaking where the male adapters thread into the value. Should I have used glue or teflon tape on the threaded portion of the adapter?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
