Controller was indeed running on back up battery since we had lost power .... charged it all up and its working fine again. Thanks for the tips.

Could be the ground wire isn't hooked up anymore. Could be the controller doesn't have power that it's just running off the back up battery.

Manual Start

I am attempting to manually start the sprinkler system - each station is set to run for 10 minutes and the display shows the clock ticking down for station 1 but the sprinkler is not running. What could be the problem ?
