Electrical testing of the zone wiring is an obvious first step. If the master valve solenoid is shorted, then replace it.
RainBird raster test result flashes "Short MV" & "Open 12"
RainBird raster test result flashes "Short MV" & "Open 12", only see valve wiring on control board up to 11, nothing in slot 12. Q1: is that because MV wire counts as 1, and #11 is 12, or what does it mean; and Q2, where would you begin troubleshooting
Bought house at 10 yrs old, believe sprinkler system was installed shortly after house was built, if that matters re age of system
