Back flow preventor and winterizer question.

I have a 3/4 copper pipe running from a meter then to a 1/2 inch pipe for a facuet. What I was wondering was could I tee of the 3/4 pipe and connect that into the backflow preventor? I have a 3/4 inch febco preventor... Image here http://www.accentshopping.com/globals/images/vault/P/149193/normal/8474.jpg
Also I dont want to hire someone to come blow out my system but what kind fitting would I need to hook up to my backflow preventor (In the side of it) and how much pressure is needed to do it. I have a small yard with 11 hunter srs.
Thanks!
