I am curious as to how many of those you have sold. My company just installed its' first fertigator and I must say the support from John Lips has been exceptional. I am still waiting, however, for my fertilizer shipment.

The FertiGator system is easy to install. Mount the controller next to the sprinkler timer and connect the appropriate wires. 'Tee' the injector into the irrigation mainline between the backflow preventer and the first zone valve and run wires to the controller. Run a tube from the injector to the fertilizer container located in the valve box, garage or shed. You are done!

The FertiGator is composed of two main parts - an injector and a controller. The controller reads the sprinkler system timer to determine what zone is on. It then tells the injector how many times to pulse in order to deliver the right amount of product to that zone. The injector pulses the proper number of times, drawing the fertilizer through a tube from the fertilizer jug and injects it in one milliliter pulses into the sprinkler system line.

Once it is installed and programmed, the FertiGator will automatically fertilize your lawn each time the sprinkler system operates throughout the year. When the bucket or jug of fertilizer is empty simply stick the fertilizer tube into a new bucket. The FertiGator is designed to easy to use and hassle-free. It even remembers its program over the winter or after a loss of power.

You use a 1 gallon jug of liquid fertilizer to supply the FertiGator. How much fertilizer will it use and therefore, how often do you have to replace the fertilizer in the 1 gallon jug? For example, you know that the system will put out about 3 inches of water in a week in periods of low rainfall and <b>you will put the fertilizer out at 24 ounces per 1,000 square feet per month</b>, the basic AR-1M Kit is appropriate so long as the GPM flow rates are less than 27. Remember, the size of the property does not matter. If the GPMs are between 27 and 55, then two injectors are required. You need either an M1 Dual (2 single injectors) or an M2 (one double injector).

How often do I have to refil the fertigator and how much do you put in at a time?
