Definatly check the main valve, and then check the wiring...check the fuse in the clock (because if the fuse is blown then the timer wont operate) If there is a rainsensor and it has rained check that too (goofy but could be true)
Good thinking[
], it would be kind of goofy to do all of the other stuff if the mainline is turned off. Don't I feel like a clown![:o)] But if the mainline is on and there is water in the lines, then maybe listen to what I said earlier.[

Is the valve shut off in the basement or where the mainline starts? Could be as easy as that. [

You might have wiring problems. Check the wiring behind the panel in the timer. Make sure all the wires are hooked up properly. Especially the common wire(usually white). This is the wire that completes your circuit. If it isn't hooked up no electricity will run to your valves. You might also want to check the wire connections in your valve box(es). Hopefully loose wires is the only problem. If not, there are other possible problems, like cut wires in the lawn. Let me know how it goes.
TORO system is not working for me...
Hi. I live in San Diego and just bought our first home. The sprinkler system used to work but I turned it off because it ran for 4 hours at a time. I found the manual and went through all the steps. The timer appears to be running through its cycles but the water does not come on. Any ideas?
