Wow... it really depends on your local climate. How much water do you need to keep your lawn nice? Around here, we need about 1"/week, so I set sensors to 1/2" as I have all my customers on twice a week watering schedules. Just think about it in terms of how much water/week you need and how many times a week you water.

Rain sensor setup

I just install a rain sensor over the weekend. Its default sensetivity was at 1/8". I want to know what is everyones setup at?
