Hunter IC 800 Controller Issues

I had a lightening strike on a tree on my property and it seems to have fried my controller. Blank LCD screen and no help to reset it. I purchased a new controller from Sprinkler Warehouse and tried swapping out the controller door with the ribbon wire. No luck. I replaced the old transformer with the new one from the new unit. No luck. The only thing that happens when I plug it in is it beeps. Any thoughts? Thanks.
