We can't see your pump setup from here. Maybe some photos would help.

o ring is slipping out at pump housing when pump shuts off

When the pump turns off there appears to be a tremendous back pressure that bumps the o ring out of its seat in the pump housing. Water spurts out for 6 seconds . Then the pump can't push water on the next start up untill I replace the oring back into its track.I have a 2 HP pool pump and a lake . I have plenty of pressure and flow. I designed the pump part of this system (first time doing so) so it may have some obvious errors.
Is there some kind of devise to absorb this backpressure before the next circuit turns on.
Does my pump have too much flow? Should I run several circuits at one time. It has an output of 80 GP
