Photos would help. Photos of the valves and their wires, and photos of the controller and its wiring.

Help with wiring single valve with two zone wires

Having a problem with the wiring in one valve that is controlling six sprinklers in different lawn locations. Have two black wires, two white wires, two red wires and two orange wires. I am trying to determine which wires goes with one of the black wires on the valve and the other remaining wires do they go with the remaining black wire. Once zone will work and the zone next to the valve will not come on with controller but will come on manually. This sprinkler system was installed by the previous home owner. Thank you.
