You can do a couple of different things.

1) If there is space on the wire terminal for another wire, just wire the common from the backyard to it.

2) if not, disconnect the common from the terminal, wire it with the common from the backyard and a third piece of wire. Connect the third piece of wire to the terminal.

Wiring valves

I am wiring my three valves in backyard to the timer to the timer which controls the front yard. My question is what do I do if my common wire terminal is already being used?
