It looks like a metal stick with a triangle on top and sticks into the ground into a white pipe (that is in the ground). We turn it to turn it on. Our sprinklers turned on this am by themselves (only front yard and they are not automatic, they are manual!). Please advise; We have to turn them on by a long "hook" type thing that goes into the ground. We moved in a year ago and have no idea how long the sprinklers were installed. We assume the same time as the house (1989). Any advice is greatly appreciated!
