Strange Municipal Requirement

You adjusted the spray so that it would cover more than 180 degrees, and through head to head coverage, you were able to get enough water behind (street-side) the sprinkler heads? It seems like it might work; have you had success this way? I'm currently trying to get a variance or other exemption from this silly rule. But if you have a way around it, that actually works (not just on paper!), then that may be the simplest approach. Thanks,

Coverage

How far behind a 180 degree sprinkler head will water cover? Or, can you adjust a 180 degree sprinkler head to, say, 220 degrees (in order to cover a small area behind the sprinkler head? My concern is that I cannot place the sprinkler line right at the edge of my property, but I'm wondering if there is a way to put it 18-24 inches from the edge, and still get good coverage. Thanks in advance
