I believe I have Nelson 9100 valves. I live in the sandhills in Kansas and I think the valves are getting sand in them and sticking open. I am on a well too. Do I need to take the top of the valve and flush it? How do I flush it to make sure the sand is gone? My grass is getting thirsty []
I have a new system (2 months old) with Nelson Rotary sprinklers. A few of them have stopped turning. They stay in one place. I have manually turned them and they got back to the position they were stuck in before and they stop again. What is causing this and how do I fix it? Parts of my yard are burning up quickly.
