Has anyone used a submersible pump in the place of a regular pump(pumping out of a lake). If so,<font face="Andale Mono"></font id="Andale Mono">[8D] did you us a pump start relay or a bladder tank and pressure switch. Next problem , choosing the right pump? I will be flowing about 30 gpm and total head is about 10'.[8D]

Do you plan to put the valves into a header or will you be putting the valves at the start of each zone? As for valves. I like the Rain Bird DV or DVF Series Valves. Their cost effective and easy to repair. RainMan
I think mrfixit has the right idea, too much glue. Unscrew the solenoid, under it you will find a small bleed hole about the size of a finish nail, I think that hole is glued from the inside. Use a small nail to push through the hole and break the glue loose. I recently worked a service call on this exact problem. Hope this helps. RainMan
