So, if there is no union, how does one get it out to replace?

How to replace a Febco 765-1

My PVB got hit hard this winter. Not only did the Bonet and Poppet break, but one of the ball valves has a crack in the housing. But there is no union in the line. The pipe comes right out of the house into the inlet ball valve and the outlet ball valve connects to a pipe that goes straight down into the ground. Did the original installer mess up? Is there a way to remove this thing that I'm not seeing
