I have a rather large yard (17 zones) which has RainBird MaxiPaw impact sprinklers for the lawn and pop-up stray for the beds. My problem is that the impact sprinklers are wearing out rapidly and am considering replacing them with gear driven rotor heads as they wear out.. Is this a good idea?
