Yep pretty straight forward, just unscrew the top, pull out the top half and screw in the ATR, nothin to it, I bought mine from sprinkler warehouse and got it in two days.
You might take a look and make sure the arrow on the valve itself is pointing in the right direction, meaning it's backwards?
