Every 3 to 5 days the backup battery is dies (and the control). Replacing the battery, fixes the problem until the next time. Wall transformer is warm not hot (have not ran voltage checks yet). System is at least 2 years old and no more than 4 years old. Before this problem, battery life (9V alkaline) was about one year. Bob A
