I assure you that this is only mud. The city water feed from the back flow preventor comes into this valve from the right and exits to the downstream valves on the left (under the mud). When I turned the manual bleed knob, water came out of the BFP. That was a bit confusing to me since I assumed the pipe on the right was input only. Just wanting to understand how this works.
