Our 18-10 ten conductor sprinkler wiring got cut but most likely ripped apart by an electronic dog fence installer this winter. Since the cable was probably stressed pretty good by the dog wire installer, what proceedure is OK for the long term repair? 1.Replace say 3 to 6 feet of the buried cable at the cut/rip by splicing in a replacement section?
