Thank you again. It's a hand dug wishing well - we think it's 20 feet max. We will measure the depth. We plan to sink the water inlet to near the bottom (with screen of course). I'll let you know how it goes. We are thinking of trying a 1/2 hp portable pump and see what happens . . .
I want to pump water from a 20 foot deep open well in NH and supply a 200 foot hose with one lawn sprinkler. Can someone recommend the best portable 120 volt reliable pump for us to use?
