Toro Remote Control

We have the Toro Remote kit for our sprinkler system. After this winter the remote no longer works. We replaced the battery and did all the troubleshooting. We thought it may have died so we purchased a new kit. The same thing happens with the new one. When you try to make a zone work, the number comes on the remote and very fast the sprinkler icon comes on and goes right off. The zone does not work. This remote plugs into the controller with a phone jack plug. Could it possibly be the jack in the controller that has gone bad? The controller works fine manually and timed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, :(

RE: Toro Remote Control

Toro are usually pretty good about honoring their warranty. I would check and see if there is a local Toro distributor
in your area. Not a retail store like Ace Hardware but a wholesaler. They usually have a counter where the will
serve retail customers. Take the remote control into them and explain the problem. Toro date codes everything
so they should be able to tell you if it is still under warranty.
