811 solenoid for 205SF irrigation valve

:?: What are the proper steps to follow to install a new 811 solenoid on an existing Richdel 205SF irrigation valve?

Turn off the water, and change the solenoid like you would a light bulb. Use reliable wire connectors - none of that twist-and-wrap-with-electrical-tape jazz.
