Question about building a manifold

Hi all,

The line from my water meter is 3/4" so I am also using 3/4" for the sprinkler main line.

Question: if I build my own manifold with 3/4" pipe and tees, will this reduce the pressure/gpm too much? I will probably have 4-5 zones.

I ask because it seems that the tees will reduce the pipe diameter at those locations since they are insert fittings, thus reducing pressure/gpm. Just not sure how much reduction and what the impact would be.

Thanks.
