Febco 765 3/4"

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and i would appreciate any help given.
This is my very first time starting up my sprinkler system. Was very
suprised to see that i had sprinklers around my yard. Here's the
problem. After i turned on the water valve for water to go to the
sprinkers, i noticed that there is water leaking from my Febco 765 Unit.
It appears that the PBV? the top part of the unit is probably
cracked/damaged. No problem i youtubed videos and it showed me how to
replace it, but another issue is, i have a tiny crack on the unit
itself. Is there anyway i can repair this crack or buy a small part to
fix it? Or will i have to buy a brand new unit and have a professional
install it? Here is a picture of the crack:

Hopefully it is visible enough. This handle is the buttom handle of the whole unit. 1 handle on the top left and this one is the handle on the mid bottom. Thanks for the help!

If it is just the handle section and if you can remove it successfully it can be replaced.
Might have a problem finding the parts.

On old units like this there are times when the labor involved in replacing a part, along with finding the part to start with, can make replacing the whole unit worthwhile.

It all depends on how it's assembled and how well the fittings have aged.

You should have the unit tested afterwards.
