You were right. I recently switched back to Google Chrome.
Turns out it was an extension I enabled called Photozoom. It's a Facebook extension. Grrr
So far so good.

Probably won't ever work.
I just asked the IT guy. Said they did it previously and were swamped with porn links and spam.
It got embarrassing.
They decided to kill links.

I've heard of Opera. Isn't that one of those old steam powered browsers?

Since the message editor lets you create clickable links, that's good enough

Opera is the free browser no one uses because Firefox, and now Chrome, are good enough. I have found it invaluable, because problems that killed Firefox and Explorer didn't stop Opera from working. Also, anyone stubborn enough to still use a Windows 98 computer, should browse with Opera, because it was still compatible with 98 long after Firefox gave out.

I do use Opera periodically.
Do a bit of computer support on the side.
I keep a copy on a flash drive for when I hit a computer with a virus that has taken control of Explorer/Firefox.
Chrome doesn't always work in those situations for some reason.

Opera is one of those programs that suffered from lack of marketing, not from functionality.
But as your graph shows the user base isn't there.

We keep this up and they'll kick us to a different forum.

It doesn't even have to be a virus. I had a Windows 98 computer crash hard on me from some file converter program I downloaded and installed. By overwriting a dll file with the XP version, it killed both Firefox and Explorer, but not Opera, which I was able to use to download and install the proper 98 dll

When a website doesn't function on Opera, I take it as an indication of sloppy coding somewhere. The original Snitz Forum used here was Opera-compatible.

Ok. Computers being my first geek love I can't back down from a challenge.
Just downloaded Opera 12. Signed on and typing this in same.
Only difference so far is different default font.
Only deal breaker so far is I can't change font color.

and you know I have to have green.




Also can't view source code, which is usually minor but can be a problem.
