Yes you can install a sprinkler system which will be supplied by well water. You must know two things about the well pump:
1. You must know how much water the pump supplies (gpm)
2. You must know thee water pressure at the outlet of the pump

Once you know these two things you design the sprinkler system so that you do not exceed these limitations on any zone in the sprinkler system.

It is also very important to find out if your system has a tank and at what hi and low pressures your pump cycles. If the design is flawed, your pump will cycle on and off while your irrigation system operates and very possibly burn your pump in no-time at all.

There are a few sprinkler heads I'd recommend(I've installed a system myself...Controlled by hose end)I'd recommend the Toro 340 series Stream Rotor if you have a med. sized area...The newer version is not a good one(I have two heads in my system, and neither one of them work properly...Have seen the 340 series many of times, and they do have a good track record in my area, as far as reliability). If you have a large lawn, I'd recommend the Toro Super 600 Rotor, or the Rain Bird Mini-Paw impact sprinkler(the mini-paw work great if you are a first time installer, easier to set than closed cased sprinkler heads).
