Water pressure to underground sprinkler system

Why does the zone start with great water pressure and quickly drops to barely a 1 foot drizzle?

Does your system use a pump to operate? Well or lake pump?

Water Pressure

It is well water. I have replaced the water tank and I have replaced the pump (from 1/2 to 1 hp).

If the well runs dry, the pressure drops to zero.
