I just had my pressure tested. The city guy who did it reminded me that they would install a second meter for the system alone. It is cheaper this way. My pressure was 41 psi at the outside faucets. The pressure at the meter was 70 PSI. The thing I am wondering is there may be a better way to do this. Just asking.Hi all. New to the forum. I’m beginning the design of my irrigation system and I need to know the flow rate of my 3/4” pex line where I’ll be tapping into for my system. There is no place to cut into to get a temporary valve to check flow rate with a bucket and timer as it’s in the meter pit and I’ll need to get a plumber to install the connection for my system. The house is a brand new build in a new subdivision and pressure and flow is great, just can’t conveniently measure it. Wondering if anyone with a 3/4” feed off the meter knows what their GPM is which could give me an idea of what to expect for design purposes? Thank you!
