Teflon Tape

I bought the 2400TF Irritrol 2400 Series Electric Globe Valve with Flow Control (1 inch Threaded Inlet/Outlet).

Do I need teflon tape on the thread or will screwing in the threaded pvc be ok.

Thanks.

Your best bet would be to use Teflon tape.

Use 8-10 wraps of teflon tape on the threads screwing in to the valve to prevent any weeping/leaking/etc
