Connecting Sprinkers with 1" NPT inlet
Iam installing a few Rainbird Falcon 6504 sprinke heads to irrigate a large area. These come with 1" female NPT inlets (most other sprinkler heads come with 3/4" inlets). Can I use the regular 1/2" funny pipes for connecting to these heads (as we ordinarily do for connecting other sprinker heads), or will I need to use larger pipes (say, 3/4" pipes) for connection purposes? [8D]
use larger dia. because using funny pipe to these will restrict the flow too much.

is that also true for thos rotors that have a 3/4 opening?
If it's a Hunter PGP with a #12 nozzle, then yes, the flow is too much for funny pipe and fittings to handle without significant loss of pressure. It's all flow-related.
no say your using a #6 nozzle will the funny sprinkler put out that much less flow to notice?
