HUNTER PRO-SPRAY SERIES
looking at changing out my sprays and going with the hunter pro spray ..how is the pro spray with adjustable nozzle ..or should i just get the body and the nozzle i need ..or i could just get all with adjustable nozzle and change as i need to...
only use adjustable nozzle where a fixed nozzle won't work
I agree with Tom. Fixed nozzles are more precise and in most cases use less water. You may try and use the Rain-Bird Van nozzles (variable arc nozzles / adjustable) if adjustable nozzles are needed. Although they are far from perfect, I feel they are better than their Hunter counterparts.

i don't have to use a adjustable nozzle just thought it would be easier to buy the adjustable ones and just set them how i needed.....
so the fixed nozzles are a better way to go....would you guys pick the hunters over the rainbird 1800 series
I like the rainbird nozzles
I agree Rain-Bird has the superior nozzle.

are you guys talking the 1800 serises and nozzle
Yes, the 1800 series pop-up and the MPR nozzles. I think you will find that they are superior to any others. Of coarse, there is the price that goes along with that. I am also not trying to take anything away from the Hunter Pro spray. They are a quality head too, and they will also take the Rain-Bird MPR nozzles. Either choice will be a sound one. <><

the rainbird is a cheaper way to go the hunter set is alittle more money....i might just get the rainbirds if they are just as good and are cheaper
The reason Rain-Bird is cheaper is not because it is inferior, they just dropped their list prices for a quick increase in sales. They won't be cheaper for long. In fact, I think they have already recently raised their list price. So it might be a good idea to buy them now why they are less than the Hunter Pro-Spray.
