best valves
Could someone please tell me who makes the best valve(last the longest) for freezing climates, temperatures down to zero and sometimes below, I really don't want to replace every year if I can help it,, thanks
Well, for climates that freeze up, systems should be blown out in the fall and you really won't have an issue with having to replace valves if this is done properly. Any of your top tier manufacturers should be fine.
I live in zone 3 (-30 degrees) and have never had to replace a valve but that is because you must blow out your system in the fall. All valves will break if they are full of water when they freeze.
Thanks,
Pete
I live in zone 8 and even knew the answer to that! Blow It!
