water line size?

What size water lines are more commonly used when supplying water from the value to the sprinkler head?
Is a 3/4" or a 1 1/2" more commonly used?

What does the job most economically is what's used, and that depends on many variables that are yet unknown.

Sosinc,
There really is no predefined size for a water line so to speak. Your supply line from your valves to your sprinkler heads will vary depending upon your water pressure and gallons per minute. Generally the range is anywhere from 3/4" to 1 1/2", but there is no certain size pipe that is always used. Once you know how much PSI you are working with and how many GPM your water supply puts out, you can then determine the appropriate size for your piping.
