New Blue PGP Nozzles

Just curious to know if anyone has been installing the new Blue Nozzled PGP's. A dealer in the area told me they were designed closer to the Rainbird style nozzle. Any truth to that? What is the "real-world distance" of a 3GPM @ the 35-40 psi range? Also, are all the nozzle spray patterns the same from the 1.5-6 GPM range?

Zero interest in blue PGP nozzles here. Ed Hunter got the PGP nozzles right some twenty years ago.

I only installed the blue nozzle one time. They seemed to puddle more around the head so I avoided them after that.

My take

I installed about 120 heads on my yard this year: 90% with the old reds and the rest with blue...You cannot tell the diff...Do not waste your money.
