Hunter node 400 question

Hallo there! I would like your help in a technical issue.
I have bought the hunter node 400 controller, which is connected with 4 valves.

What i want to achieve is to have each valve open (with the other 3 closed) for a few hours.

EXAMPLE:
13:00-14:00 valve 1 open - the others closed,
14:00-15:00 valve 2 open - the others closed,
15:00-16:00 valve 3 open - the others closed,
16:00-17:00 valve 4 open - the others closed

From what i see, i can't do that, cause there are only 3 programmes (A,B,C), so i can have only the three of the four valves open independently. (every valve is assigned to a programm)

Am i missing something?

Regards
George

thank you for the answer.
let's say i put in program A 4 start times.

13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00

then when i adjust the run times, they are adjusted for the whole program, and not for every start time of the program.
eg. 1:00 for station 1 and 1:00 for station 2

this way i'll end up, with more than one valve open. (with the example above, i'll have 4 start times, with both station 1 and 2 open)

what i want is to have each station alone and seperately open from the others.

Start time A1 is set for 13:00

That's all you do for start times.

Each zone is set to run for one hour.

The zones will run in sequence.

Job done.

oohhh!! i didn't know that the stations run in sequential order in a program!!!

very nice

one more question.

can i set in a program, zero run
time for a station, so it won't open? (eg, run time for station 1 - 5
minutes, for station 2 - 5 minutes, for station 3 - zero minutes, and
for station 4 - 5 minutes)

A run time set to zero is the equivalent of "off" - it's how stations are associated with different programs, in order for them to run on different schedules

You don't need to program a start time for each zone or program for what your trying to accomplish.

You need to clear programs B & C and stick to only A

All that needs to be programmed is :
-1 or first start time( this start time applies to all the zone, once it finishes one it will move to the next) ex.13:00
-Valve run time ex. 1:00 for zones 1,2,3,4
-Day in which to water. I'd stay away from odd/even and interval watering. I would just set it to water a set day(s).

Keep in mind these controller will only allow one valve to open at a time no matter what.

If you program multiple start times on all three programs the controller will stack the programs and run all the time.

Hope that help.

a few questions more:

1. if i set in program A start time 12:00 in tuesday and run time in station 1 1 hr, and
in program B start time 12:00 in tuesday and run time in station 2 1 hr,
then both stations 1 and 2 will be open at 12:00 for 1 hour or will there be a problem? (because you said that the controller allows one station at a time)

2. if i set interval 3 days, then which day will the irrigation start? do i set also set the watering day, from which the interval starts counting?
if i set the watering day in monday, with 3 days interval, will it open again in thursday or friday?

thanks!!!
