Sprinkler pump to garden hose

Is it possible to use a garden hose off of a sprinkler pump?

I have a pump start relay that is going to be activated off the controller. I am wondering if I can put a bypass switch when I want to use the garden hose.

Thanks!

Not really. You would need some means for the pump to become a self-contained water supply, ready to deliver water when demand requires it. A water supply from a well includes a pressure tank and a pressure switch, and you could do the same. No pump relay needed or wanted.
