Replaced solenoid and diaphragm, now what

Zone 2 the last two heads would not pop. Poor pressure on the other 5, so replaced solenoid. Worked once when repair guy was here, then didn't next day. Did research and replaced diaphragm ourselves. (couldn't justify another $150 for work we could have done with a little research) Worked twice and now again back to not. Works when turning on manually at the valve. Could it be dirt inside the valve? Good pressure, all pop when turned on manually. At a loss right now.

Dirt or some other obstruction in the passageways where the solenoid water flows. Try probing with a stiff wire.
