What is the correct method to connect slip joint valves to 1" poly piping?

Thanks for that. What type of adheasive do you use. Is the adapter grey in color like all of the other poly fittings[?] Thanks again.[:D]

"Slip" means glued PVC - these are fittings in the Schedule 40 PVC fittings category. Most Schedule 40 is white, but there might be some grey slip x poly adapters.
