Pump start relay clicks but the pump is not engaging

Hi,
I'm new at troubleshooting and I have a problem with a pump start relay. The relay clicks when prompted from the controller, but the pump does not engage. Any suggestions as to where I need to start looking?

You might be dealing with voltages high enough to kill you. You need to think long and hard whether this is a do-it-yourself project.
