SRC Failure

I have had this SRC 900i controller about a month. It failed a couple of days ago and when it would not respond I took it apart. Resister R28 was fried to say the least. Is this fixable or just a symptom? Will Hunter fix this?

I expect your taking it apart removed any obligation on Hunter's part to do anything whatsoever. Those things are made in China, and are probably replaced, rather than being repaired. You can always ask. Likely, you will start over with another controller, but check your wiring and valve solenoids for shorts, just in case.
