Hunter PGP Heads Breaking

Just ordered 6 new heads as our existing heads keep breaking at the threads, allowing them to pop out of the base and spraying water everywhere. Is anyone else having this problem with the Hunter PGP heads?

What are the heads threaded onto? If it's brass or steel, or if you're using a psste dope on the threads, you may have problems.
