Which filter screen?
I have a water well for lawn irrigation and need to replace my sand separator. The well pumps about 25gpm and the pressure is between 35-65psi. The Vu-Flow T Style Screen Filter is what is recommended, 1 1/2 inch with 100 screen. However, there is the poly and stainless steel screens. Which should I go with and what are the life expectancy of each. And why should I go with your suggestion?
Thanks for your help.
Bill
Stainless will clean up easier. Less worry about tearing the nylon screen.
Thanks for the input.
I was also referred to the stainless and was recommended to have a spare cartidge on hand. When the cartridge needs cleaning, best to simply swap out the cartridge with the spare, get the water back on and clean the cartidge at my leasure. Cleanup can be easier when the cartridge is dry.
