new tool idea

i took a fitting that attatches to my half inch/three qtr inch riser and to a garden hose fitting ...i attatch it after i dig the sprinkler up so no water runs back into hole

Sounds like an interesting concept. You should always remember to flush your system after repairs as well.

I already have thought of that. Except mine is a set up with risors and an elbow so when I blow the system out it shoots the water out to the side above the hole so it doesnt fill up..
