Recently installed irrigation system tied into a shallow well pump. Everytrhing works fine but newly installed cement patios and walkway becoming stain from what I beleive to be is iron stains. Can a filter be installed to prevent this. Thanks, Kevin

Hi,
I have never been faced with that problem before. You may wish to call the irrigation contractor in your area that installed the syste, or if you installed it, then you may wish to talk to a contractor or do some research on a type of filter for your concern.

Sorry i couldnt be a further help!

Thanks
Ray

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

You can use a iron-neutralizing solution that gets drawn into the shallow-well pump's suction.
